Run Sheets & Times

A running sheet is also known as an event schedule, which outlines when meals will be served, speeches will be made as well as other formalities.

This is used to organise the times when the band/acts will be performing.

Often your venue manager will assist you in planning this running sheet.

Bands generally will perform 3 x 45 min sets or 135 minutes of performance time for a wedding.
A dinner bracket is also available.

If you require an earlier set you can split a 45min set into a 20min and a 25min set.
We recommend having the majority of the band's sets later in the evening when guests are ready to dance!

LOAD IN/SET UP –

When does the band arrive to set up?

Bands arrive up to 1 hour prior to their contracted call out times.
Earlier load in times may incur an extra fee and need approval prior to booking.

Instinct will liaise with your venue prior to your function date to co-ordinate load-in and sound check times.

Most bands & DJ’s arrive one hour prior to doors, roving acts will arrive 30 minutes prior.
