2.Chris Atkinson for Arinex
Instinct was invited to participate in the 90th Anniversary of the Rotary Charity Dinner this year and as part of our sponsorship program provided the guests with the wonderful and multi-talented Chris Atkinson.
Chris wooed the audience with his style and sound, playing hits from the Jazz and swing eras.
He sings, plays guitar, piano, saxophone, clarinet & flute and has a huge repertoire of songs to appeal to any audiences, this young man is definitely a true showman.

4.Take Two & Smooth Jazz Trio for Ernst & Young
Last month saw Ben Quilty win Australia’s most prestigious portraiture prize, the Archibald, with his painting of esteemed artist Margaret Olley.
Ernst & Young invited some of their VIP clients to a number of special event viewings and Instinct was asked to provide suitable background entertainment for each event.
Acoustic duo Take Two performed beautiful acoustic versions of many well known Australian artists on the first night while Smooth Jazz trio provided the perfect jazz lounge soundtrack for the following night.

5.Nick Farr-Jones for CIO Summit
Instinct organised Nick Farr-Jones as a guest speaker at the recent CIO Summit at the Sheraton Mirage.
Instead of delivering another business speaker, the decision was made to offer a different speaker option to address this important audience. As Rugby World Cup looms and Rugby Union offers a unifying platform across this group, the opportunity to have a Rugby Union legend speak was a logical choice.
Nick covered topics such as the Australian Rugby team’s preparations ahead of this year’s Cup event, Nick’s personal account of his preparations to lead the first RWC Australian team on the 20th anniversary of this occasion. He also provided a link to the challenges of the Australian team in a business context.

6.Dermott Brereton & Mark Waugh for Cisco's live event
As a promotional strategy to increase traffic to our client’s trade stand at the recent IT focused Cisco live event, Instinct organised 2 elite sport stars to be available to meet trade show guests during the busy lunch time period.
The two sporting celebrities, Dermott Brereton (AFL) and Mark Waugh (Cricket) both made themselves available to chat and network to fans and later returned during the cocktail function where they happily engaged in a sports themed trivia game where guests won the chance to team up with the stars to answer questions and win prizes.

9.Sally Cooper, Gaga Magic, Headspace & Stephanie Ryan Smith for Chinese wedding at Crown Palladium
The Crown Palladium was transformed into a Chinese Wedding Spectacular!
With nine days notice from enquiry to delivery, Instinct supplied the talented Sally Cooper, violin virtuoso, as the opener, followed by Gaga Magic. Stephanie Ryan Smith was utilized as the stunning MC, working in conjunction with the Mandarin speaking MC, to ensure all of the 500 guests could enjoy the proceedings.
Eight individual Chinese cultural acts were utilized to provide the guests with non-stop entertainment, culminating in Headspace, one of Australia leading ten piece cover bands, driving the dancing until close.
Guest were treated to a seven course banquet by Crown’s event team, with sound/AV by Staging Connections. The room was themed with red draping by SAS Events team, complete with Chinese Lanterns... it really was a Chinese fairy tale.

The team at Covermore recently got together in the Blue Mountains for their annual conference.
Turning to Instinct for suggested entertainment was a smart move, with Matt Hollywood coming in and nailing the task.
Matt delivers a live stage show that is a delectable serving of side-splitting comedy magic you`ll want to sample again and again! And the feedback was "excellent!".

11.Dora The Explorer for Mothercare
Mothercare is the name for prams, pushchairs, car seats, cot beds, baby clothes and much more. Established as the number one retailer for mums to be and parents alike, Mothercare is your one stop shop for all things baby.
Mothercare recently had one of their store openings in Castle Hill, NSW. The client wanted to create a wow factor to attract people to the store but it also had to be child friendly.
Instinct (via Two Birds Talking) delivered the life sized Dora from the well known hit television series "Dora The Explorer". She did a 1.5 hour meet & greet and there was even a live cross to Channel 10's morning show "The Circle".

12.Spongebob Squarepants for Hawthorn Football Club's annual family day
Hawthorn Football Club's annual family day is always a favourite day for all club fans and their families and this year was no exception.
As well as the popular player & coach interviews, guernsey presentations, raffles and family style entertainment, Instinct supplied the club with a special performance by the ever popular children’s character - Sponge Bob Square Pants and his Bikini Bottom Live Stage Show.

13.Chinese Lion Dancers for Melbourne Airport
For the second year in a row, Instinct helped greet arrivals at the International terminal at Melbourne Airport with traditional Chinese Lion Dancers to celebrate the Chinese New Year.
Complete with 8 men, symbols and drums, cultural costumes and of course - the Lion itself.
This was to welcome in the Year Of The Rabbit.

14.Fat Elvis for Case Victoria
A common request from trade show exhibitors is; how do I get more people to notice us and come visit our stand?
Our answer at Instinct is - you need to stand out.
At a recent trade show in Melbourne, Case Victoria booked our Fat Elvis performer to roam around the show high above the crowd drawing attention to our client’s stand.
And to ensure the guests knew who the client was, we created a special cape with the client’s logo that draped over the king’s back.

15.Chunky Jam band for Iveco Trucks
Iveco Trucks recently had their annual conference in San Remo at Silverwater, and with Instinct's recommendation, they booked Chunky Jam 5 piece, ensuring the dance floor was full all night long.
Chunky Jam played a wide range of classic dance floor party hits from the 70's, 80's, 90's and today.
The client had nothing but kind words for the band, saying “The night was fantastic! Everybody had a ball! We will recommend!!”

With a Parisian themed event organised for their client at the magnificent Regent Plaza Ballroom in Melbourne, Imagine If sought ideas for suitable entertainment to compliment the theme.
Instinct supplied a range of tasteful Burlesque inspired entertainment including Zoe The Foot Juggler. The latest sensation in corporate entertainment, Zoe’s unique skills of juggling parasol umbrellas with her feet is an amazing sight to see.
To finish off the night, a wonderful and flamboyant performance by the best Kylie Tribute show in Australia, the Australian Ultimate Kylie Show added the perfect touch to the evening. Lead by Kylie look-a-like Karolina, and her dancers in replica costumes featuring pick ostrich feathers, the show had everyone singing and dancing to hits of Kylie Minogue.

17.Chunky Jam band & Brazilian drumming teambuilding for a Telstra business conference
To energise their delegates during a recent Melbourne conference, our client was looking for an energetic team building workshop.
Rather than relying on a traditional African style drumming workshops, Instinct customised this popular idea with a Brazilian twist.
Headed by the wonderful Neda, dressed in traditional Brazilian costume, our Brazilian Drumming group wowed the delegates with their performance and energy. Every delegate was a given their own instrument to play and engage with one another in a safe, fun and inclusive manner, culminating with a group ensemble performance.
In the evening, the delegates danced to the classic hits of Instinct’s popular cover band - ‘Chunky Jam’ at the gala dinner, where a senior manager joined the boys on stage to sing the Robbie William’s classic - 'Angels'.
